PeopleTorstein has practised as a lawyer for more than 25 years, primarily focusing on the implementation of digital technologies in both the public and private sectors. His expertise encompasses public procurement, IT contracts, data protection, IT law, and, notably, strategic advisory services.

Torstein has advised a wide range of government clients, including: the Brønnøysund Register Centre, the Norwegian Digitalisation Agency, the Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Bufdir/Bufetat), Norwegian Health Network, the Norwegian Agency for Public and Financial Management (DFØ), the Directorate of Health, the Directorate for e-Health, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI), SIKT, the University of Oslo, NTNU, Sykehusbygg, Central Norway Regional Health Authority, Northern Norway Regional Health Authority, Northern Norway Health ICT Trust, Avinor Air Navigation Services, NRK, the Directorate of Culture, and the Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDI). Torstein has also provided legal counsel to numerous private sector entities within the same legal fields.
Torstein possesses practical experience with all standard ICT agreements and is recognised as one of Norway’s leading experts on SSA agreements. He has regularly conducted courses on SSA agreements since 2012.
