Work in Tenden

Tenden is an attractive alternative if you would like to work with highly skilled colleagues in a good working environment, outside of, but still close to Oslo.

Work in Tenden

We want to get in touch with skilled candidates with good personal qualities who want to take part in developing the firm and themselves.

Tenden is a modern full-service commercial law firm with Vestfold as starting point. By joining us you get to work with exciting cases for both Norwegian and international clients. Tenden is an attractive alternative if you want to work in a strong and dynamic legal environment, if you are looking for new challenges and opportunities and wish to specialise and further develop your legal skills.

Our location is a bonus. Vestfold is an area in growth, with attractive living possibilities and wonderful natural surroundings. At the same time the distance to the capital and abroad is short.

You are welcome to contact our head of administration Tom Henry Olsen on telephone + 47 45 83 86 46 or at tho@tendenadvokat.no for a non-binding talk.

Students

As a part of our long-term strategy we wish to establish contact with engaged, positive and skilled students who in the long run would like to work as a lawyer based in Vestfold.

We have established arrangements for traineeships for advanced students and a place to write for students writing their masters' thesis.

Writing facilities

Each year we offer office space and legal guidance to 1-2 students writing their masters' thesis within one of our legal practice areas.

Normally, one of our lawyers in the relevant practice area will provide legal guidance, in addition to the supervisor you have been assigned by the university.

Traineeship

Every year we offer 1-2 students traineeships with a duration of 4-6 weeks during the spring or fall semester.

As a trainee you will get a fully equipped office space and a mentor having the main responsibility for you while you're with us, both socially and professionally, based in one of our offices (Sandefjord or Tønsberg).

We will see to it that as a trainee you get exciting and varied tasks giving you the best possible insight into how the workday as an associate in Tenden is. All trainees get the chance to participate in client meetings and other meetings, and otherwise work closely with our lawyers. We aim for all trainees to participate in at least one trial while with us, including in the preparation work.

To apply for a traineeship, you must have completed at least three years of your Master of Law degree.

Applications

Applications for traineeships or a place to write may be sent together with grade transcripts and any references by email to Tenden Advokatfirma ANS (student@tendenadvokat.no). We review applications all year. Normally, there is no deadline for applying, but in order to be considered for next semester, the applications should be sent as soon as possible the present semester.
