Kjersti Schiøtz Thorud
PeopleKjersti Schiøtz Thorud has extensive and broad experience as a lawyer and adviser within her specialist area of real estate, assisting businesses, private individuals, and the public sector.
She possesses particular expertise in structuring development projects and the acquisition of commercial properties. She has considerable experience with cases involving expropriation and valuation, especially in connection with the construction of roads, railways, power plants, and shooting ranges.
Furthermore, she works with matters related to zoning, subdivision, property boundaries, and rights to real estate, including easements and ground leases. Thorud regularly acts as an adviser to the mineral industry, including in investigations and extraction of minerals owned by both landowners and the state, as well as drafting agreements with landowners.
